Anyone who has tasted Masman curry will ask for more. It has a very smooth and a strong sensational flavour from cumin, cardamon and clove. This curry dish can also be made from chicken, duck, beef or pork as the main ingredient.
Heat oil in the skillet. Stir Masman Curry Paste until aromatic. Put diced potato and onion in and stir until well blended.
Add prawns and stir until cooked. Slowly pour in the coconut milk and flavour with palm sugar.
Place steamed rice and stir until blended. Garnish and put on plates to serve.
River prawns should be prepared immediately after purchase, otherwise, the flesh will become soft, less succulent and bad-smelling. Prawns are easily cooked. Overcooking will result in the flesh becoming stiff and less succulent.
